What gets counted

There are no forms here and no accounts, so we never learn your name or email. When you read the page, a small script notes which page was opened, the address you arrived from, how far you scrolled, whether you tapped an app button and which one, plus your browser language and device type. A random visitor number kept in your browser stops us counting you twice. Your IP address helps estimate a rough location and is not kept in full.

Why, and who processes it

We use these counts to see which parts of the page help and which don't. The script sends them to this site's own server, which passes them on to an analytics provider that stores data in the European Union. Nothing is sold, and nothing goes to advertisers.

What your browser keeps

No cookies are set. Two small values sit in your browser's storage: the random visitor number and a visit number that resets after half an hour of inactivity. Clearing site data removes both. If you block the script, the page still works exactly the same.

The app buttons

Buttons for the Confidently app first open a short address on this site (/start-practice). It looks at your browser type to choose between the App Store and Google Play, and on Android it tells Google Play which button you used. It saves nothing. Once you reach a store, the privacy terms of Apple, Google and the app apply.

Your choices

You can ask us to remove data linked to your visitor number at the email above. Since we hold nothing that names you, clearing this site's storage in your browser is the quickest way to start fresh.
